Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the effects and impacts of globalization worldwide and the roles of Naval Power in the 21st century at the regional level. The Naval is framed in different dimensions that regulate the economic, technological, political and social markets, being the sea, one of the main instruments to achieve these globalizing effects, whose tendency is to seek a dynamic and multipolar development that favors economies of scale. The Naval Power of the 21st century, acquires its importance, by becoming the support that guides this homogenizing current, whose roles for this new architecture, are focused from the Diplomatic, Military and Maritime point of view, evidencing the complexity it constitutes for the navies to maintain the balance between defense and global values. Therefore, these currents require a Naval Power to act at the regional level, especially focused on the three areas of development and whose impact not only affects each particular State, but rather directly affects the regional and world concert that humanity lives today.
