Geopolítica del Perú y su perspectiva en el ámbito marítimo
Abstract
In the midst of the global geopolitical dispute of the great powers, and in a growing international environment of conflicts, world trade and its maritime lines of communication become a focus of permanent observation. In Peru, large projects in the maritime field, such as the development of port infrastructure and the promotion of the naval industry, have been generating high expectations about the impacts they may generate, especially in the economic aspect. However, these interests have resonance in the region and especially in Chile, a country whose oceanic vision leads to remaining competitive in the port sector and in maritime trade in the south Pacific. This article presents a brief review of Peru's geopolitical vision, focusing on the projection towards the Indo-Pacific and the effects that this can cause.
