The need of new training offer for the Peruvian naval, military and aeronautics industry
Abstract
This work makes a first approximation to the demand for the new training offer that is required from the defense sector to promote the industry in the Peruvian Armed Forces. We conducted a survey in which 233 members of the Armed Forces participated, of which 146 are officers with high positions and 87 are non-commissioned officers. Their contribution and perspective have contributed to this approach and to the analysis and confirmation of the importance. Although there is a need to ensure financing, the process of strengthening the capabilities of technicians requires articulated work with the education sector from the offer provided in Higher Education Institutes, which is why we focus on the importance of providing a supply for demand, which implies the articulation with the country's private and state companies, and of course its decision to articulate efforts for a differentiated positioning in Latin America with respect to neighboring countries, highlighting the need to strengthen the main function of the Armed Forces to be prepared to guarantee national sovereignty, security, peace in the territory and its integrity, and contribute to the Peruvian economy through the defense industry. We review some obstacles that, from the perception of the Armed Forces, must be overcome with sustainable policies over time that are from the State and not from the Government to guarantee success.
