La Economía Azul como impulsor de la Política Marítima Nacional y la Seguridad Marítima peruana

Abstract

In the process of implementing the National Maritime Policy, we find world trends regarding ocean governance that has been pointing towards an integrated approach to the sea. Likewise, and in this context, the blue economy approach presents general guidelines for the sustainable development of states across the oceans, from strong economies in the world such as the European Community or China, as to those corresponding to developing states like the Seychelles Islands or Kenya. Thus, under the present approach, policies such as maritime security and protection of a given country are analyzed, through a documentary analysis of literature referring to interests in the maritime field. It was concluded that the Blue Economy contains relevant aspects, that must be considered in the implementation of the National Maritime Policy and therefore Maritime Safety in the country.
